Writely Lightly

Welcome to a virtual cafe where Christian writers cheer one another on!

Writely Lightly has just opened its doors—a virtual cafe where you’re invited to enjoy and explore the artistry and music of writing. It’s a place for Christian writers to encourage one another as we seek to share Hope, to grow as writers, and to enjoy playing with language, particularly here on Substack.

The ‘writely’ in the name is pretty self-explanatory. The ‘lightly’ is twofold—both the sharing of Jesus’s light, and a chance to delight in a bit of linguistic whimsy from time to time.

I’m planning to include opportunities to learn and share ‘tips for new players’, to collate links to some really helpful Substack posts on writing, to cultivate a space for sharing our writing and giving/receiving meaningful feedback (think friendly writers’ group in an eclectic but hygienic cafe😊).
